Casino brand and legal entity are different fields
A product name tells you what a customer sees; a legal entity identifies an organisation in a particular source.
The distinction that matters
Keep brand, operator entity, product, jurisdiction and hostname in separate columns. A shared name does not establish a shared contract, and one organisation can operate more than one product. Combining these fields into one label makes later changes difficult to trace and can attach the wrong terms to a page.
A worked example
In a fictional record, Pine Casino is the brand, Example Gaming Limited is the organisation, and play.pine.example is the destination. A later document naming Example Payments Limited does not automatically replace the operator: it may describe a processor. The relationship has to be stated in a relevant source, not inferred from a familiar word.
Your next steps
- Write down the name exactly as the source gives it.
- Record the document title and jurisdiction beside that name.
- Separate the gaming operator from any payment or software supplier.
- Keep uncertain relationships marked as unresolved.
Where this answer stops
This worksheet does not determine corporate ownership or legal responsibility. It prevents accidental merging of records. For a dispute, use the contact and complaint process in the applicable operator documents rather than a guessed parent company.
