Reconcile a partial withdrawal against its reference

A smaller credit may be one part of a payment, a fee effect or a different transaction. Match records before drawing a conclusion.

The distinction that matters

Use the requested amount, currency, operator reference, dispatch record and bank credit together. A partial amount should not be assigned to a request solely because the dates are close. Separate a documented deduction from a missing remainder; they require different follow-up questions.

A worked example

You requested C$300 and a C$180 credit appears. That could be a partial payment or an unrelated transfer; the amounts alone do not decide. First match the reference. If the operator confirms a split, ask for the remaining amount, its status and its own reference rather than submitting the original request again.

Your next steps

  • Match the reference and currency.
  • Record each credit separately.
  • Ask whether the request was split or adjusted.
  • Reconcile only confirmed components to the original amount.

Where this answer stops

The C$300 and C$180 figures are illustrative, not operator limits. Northline does not assert that partial processing is allowed under your terms. Keep the unresolved balance explicit until the provider explains it.
