Convert credits to currency before comparing amounts
A credit is a unit within the game's display. Its monetary value must be known before a credit total becomes a currency amount.
The distinction that matters
Multiply the number of credits by the stated value of one credit. Keep denomination separate from the total round cost, which may use many credits. Do not assume that a game described as a penny game costs one cent per round or that every credit counter uses the same denomination.
A worked example
At a fictional denomination of C$0.02 per credit, 150 credits equal C$3. A 40-credit round costs C$0.80. Comparing 150 directly with a C$1 bank-account change mixes units; converting both sides to CAD makes the question meaningful.
Your next steps
- Locate the denomination shown by the game.
- Write the credit count and unit value separately.
- Multiply once to obtain the currency amount.
- Recheck the denomination after any setting change.
Where this answer stops
The example does not describe a real game's minimum or payout. If the denomination is unavailable, do not guess it from the title or graphics. Ask for the applicable rules before reconciling a round.
