Ask about an expired or replaced payment card
An old card reference and a current bank account can have different roles in a withdrawal process.
The distinction that matters
Describe whether the card expired, was replaced or was cancelled, without posting its full number. Ask the operator and card issuer which procedure applies to the existing transaction. Do not assume that all replacements route payments identically or that a different person's card is an acceptable substitute.
A worked example
Your stored method shows the last four digits of a replaced card. A useful support message states that the card was replaced and asks how an existing withdrawal should be handled. It does not send a photograph of both cards to an unverified email address.
Your next steps
- Use verified support channels.
- State the type of change, not unnecessary card details.
- Ask what evidence or correction is required.
- Keep the written instruction and transaction reference.
Where this answer stops
Northline cannot determine how an issuer routes a particular payment. This page is not an instruction to change payment ownership or create new transactions. Preserve the account history while clarifying the permitted process.
