Keep demonstration and account versions separate
A demonstration screen can help you locate controls, but its displayed settings do not automatically establish a real-money configuration.
The distinction that matters
Label the environment where each observation was made. A demonstration, mobile application and account-based launch can have different identifiers or documentation. Do not infer equivalence because the graphics look the same. The applicable rules must explicitly support any comparison of settings.
A worked example
You record a percentage in a public demonstration and later open a game in an account. Even if the title matches, carry over only the fact that the demonstration showed that value. The account version needs its own identifier and rules check before you associate the percentage with it.
Your next steps
- Record whether the observation came from a demo or account context.
- Keep screenshots or notes separated by environment.
- Compare the documented identifiers.
- Leave equivalence unresolved when the source does not establish it.
